Jeff is a perfectionist and took the time he needed to determine whether we needed the jetting service needed to be performed. I was able to see the video of our sewer line and have copies that we were able to conveniently saved to a flash drive.

The technician was prompt, completed the service in a short amount of time, was polite and explained everything he did to me.

The Plumbing Department Inc was great. Our water heater died and they came out the same day to diagnose & quote. The next day the same person set up the new water heater. They always gave timeframes that were acceptable, and were able to show up earlier than expected. The plumber was professional and got the job done perfectly. I highly recommend them.

Responsive and conscientious!! I called Jeff after a copper pipe in my two flat building had been punctured by a screw. I needed it fixed immediately and had called several other places before calling The Plumbing Department. Jeff showed up when he said he would and did a fantastic job fixing the problem. The water was back on in my building in no time! This was by far and away the best service I have ever received from a trade company in Chicago. The Plumbing Dept deserves more than 5 stars! I had an issue with my hot water tank. I spoke with Jeff and was able to set up an appointment the next day. He was polite, professional, and honest. Price was very reasonable. Jeff even gave tips on how to maintain the hot water tank to keep it running smoothly and prevent similar issues from happening again.

They are great.  Very good follow-up from getting a quote to the work.  Very neat, on time, and work is solid.   So many others out there, it's nice to have someone who is honest and dependable.   Would HIGHLY recommend.    If and when we need additional plumbing services we are calling Jeff.

We have an old house with complicated plumbing and have now worked with Jeff and his crew several times since our initial emergency water heater replacement. Antique sink clogs, shower clogs, ancient toilet fixes, sewer video, sewer jetting, catch basin inspections - you name it, this guy is amazing. Always friendly, helpful, tidy and efficient, my husband and I cannot recommend them enough.
