Low Water Pressure

Dealing with low water pressure in your home can be frustrating, but we are here to help! There are many potential causes to consider when it comes to poor water pressure:

  • Water supply valves are not open all the way.
  • Piping is corroded or blocked.
  • Faulty plumbing fixtures.
  • Pipes are leaking.
  • Too many water fixtures being used at once.

What can you do when you notice low water pressure in the home?

  • Pay attention to where the pressure issues are. If the issue is isolated to one fixture, that fixture likely needs to be repaired or replaced.
  • Check the home for any signs of leaks.
  • Clean the aerators on your faucets to remove any built up sediment.
  • If the issue persists, ask your favorite local plumbers if a booster pump might be helpful to increase pressure throughout the whole home!
